More than 30 years of logistics experience laid the foundation for a business shaped by teamwork, trust and a commitment to keep moving forward.
After spending more than 30 years in the logistics industry, Selvan Munsami had developed extensive experience and a deep understanding of the transport business. From the time he finished school, logistics had been a part of his working life. In 2015, he decided it was time to take a chance on himself and turn his experience into something of his own.
With determination, courage and a vision for the future, Selvan took the leap and started his own trucking company with just one truck, one trailer and one driver.
In the early days, Selvan managed almost every aspect of the business himself. From sourcing work and building client relationships to overseeing operations and handling invoices, he was involved in the day-to-day running of the company. It was a hands-on journey that demanded dedication, perseverance and a willingness to put in the work, even when the challenges seemed overwhelming.
As the business began to grow, his wife, Anusha Munsami, joined him to assist with the accounts function. Her involvement marked an important step in the company’s development, bringing additional support to the business and allowing them to work together towards a shared vision.
What began as Selvan’s entrepreneurial leap gradually became a family-driven journey built on teamwork, trust and a shared commitment to growing the business.
Over the years, that commitment has helped transform the company from a small operation into a growing transport business. Selvan now has 52 trucks and a fleet of trailers, including a side loader.
The journey has been about much more than expanding the fleet. It has been about building a business from the ground up, nurturing relationships, adapting to the demands of the industry and remaining committed to the values that shaped its beginnings.
Today, the company stands as a reflection of Selvan and Anusha’s dedication, resilience and belief in what they set out to build together. From one truck and one driver in 2015 to a growing fleet, every milestone represents years of hard work and a determination to keep moving forward.
